Meat is Murder Digital Horror Comic $1.99

The Butcher of Banner Cross Part Two: Meat is Murder, continues the investigation into gruesome murders by a baffled Police and Government Agent. There only hope is Punchline, a paranormal investigator, but he is as much a mystery as the murders.

Punchline:
'The killer isn't human , but before I stop the murders, it has to have
killed five. It has to be serial as well as surreal or it just isn't funny.'

The is macabre horror with dark humour running throughout as dismembered bodies are found that have had their internal organs removed, so you shouldn't read this just after you've eaten.

The first three titles in CDComics Surreal Murder Mystery series are now available on KDP Select as single shot Graphic Novels priced $2.99. This also means they can be borrowed from the Kindle Owners' Lending Library in the U.S., U.K, Germany, France, and Japan, so that's free for a limited time to the reader, but CDComics still gets paid by Amazon.

And for the first time this includes the Sheffield Wednesday, blue and white version of Football Crazy.

Comics withdrawn from Kobo at W.H.Smith

Unfortunately, as CDComics titles were on Kobo via Smashwords and are categorised in the Graphic Novels & Comics section, they have been withdrawn due the current ebook scandal at W.H.Smiths.

Before this happened CDComics had 3 titles in the top 10 of the Kobo Crime & Mystery Bestsellers Chart and 1 title in both the Horror and Historical top 10 that have now been removed.

CDComics do not contain any of the sexual themes that have been referred to in recent news items or any nudity, but they have narratives that challenge the mainstream across a range of genres, including Horror, Crime & Mystery, Superhero and Historical.

The comics are still available at the following websites and The Butcher of Banner Cross #2 of 3 will be released later this month and just in time for Halloween.

Other great CDComic reads for Halloween...

Meadowhell: The True Horror of Shopping,
Spring Heeled Jack: From the Tunnels of Hell
Football Crazy: The Theatre of Nightmares

Hopefully, CDComics titles will be back on Kobo and available form W.H.Smiths sooner rather than later...

$1.99/£1.30 Horror Comic Reviewed

CDComics fourth macabre horror whodunit title set in Sheffield gets reviewed by Bat at Horror Cult Films

Review Extract: "The first chapter of a three part story, PUNCHLINE... manages to inject a bit of humour, in what is an actual brutal comic. The black and white style of the comic is used to great effect and keeps it from being too gory to read visually, though the written words do enough to turn your stomach as Punchline (The Surreal Detective) thinks nothing of blurting out the brutal details of the murder, seemingly unaffected by what he’s witnessed.

The Butcher of Banner Cross: Punchline is a fantastic start to a supernatural murder mystery series... a must-read for horror fans."
